Dr. Jonathan Bensoussan is a trained Prosthodontist and Owner of the Institute for Advanced Dentistry. He was born and raised in Paris, France and moved to the United States in his early teens. At a very young age, Dr. Bensoussan was drawn to the anatomy and physiology of teeth, ultimately driving him to pursue his passion for dentistry and become a respected specialist in the field.
He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry. Out of his class, he was recognized for outstanding clinical skills in implant, digital dentistry and complex restorative care.
To perfect his skillsets, he pursued training in complex restorative dentistry by completing a three year Prosthodontics residency at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. His training had a strong clinical focus in implants, cosmetic dentistry and dental rehabilitations.
With his background, Dr. Bensoussan continuously delves into the latest scientific and technological advancements to ensure his patients receive state of the art care.
Dr. Bensoussan is involved in national and local organizations He is a Member of the following associations: American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Bensoussan is also engaged in local study clubs with his peers.
When he is not making his patients smile, Dr. Bensoussan enjoys skiing on mountain tops, playing tennis, exploring cities on a bike, experiencing cultures around the world, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
